Do You Know A Great Grad?

Contributed by the College’s Alumni Association

Nominations are open for the 2018 St. Clair College Alumni of Distinction Awards.

The awards were established in 1992 to honour accomplished graduates of St. Clair College and its predecessor, the Western Ontario Institute of Technology (WOIT).

To-date, 102 graduates have been honoured by the college.

Alumni are recognized in the following disciplines: Creative Arts, Technology, Business, Health Sciences, Community Studies, and Recent Graduate (within the past five years).

This is an opportunity for the public to nominate an outstanding graduate who has achieved success in his/her career, made a difference in the community, and demonstrated a real commitment to others.

To nominate an individual who graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor-Chatham or WOIT, go to and click on the “Alumni of Distinction” link for the nomination form.

The 26th Annual Alumni of Distinction Awards banquet will be held in the spring at the Centre for the Arts.

(The Alumni of Distinction award winners also, automatically, become the college's nominees for the provincial Premier's Awards, bestowed during the annual Colleges Ontario convention in late-autumn. The "AofD" also serve as keynote speakers during St. Clair's Convocation ceremonies, providing inspirational messages to graduating classes.)
