Skilled Trades Restructured

The Saint Scene

On behalf of Ken Blanchette and Lido Zuccato, I would like to announce that Dale Sinnaeve and Richard Lauzon will be joining the Academic Sector in the School of Skilled Trades.

Upon further review of the structure of the Skilled Trades’ programs, Lido, Ken and myself felt that it would be of great benefit to recombine the programs once again under one School, with Lido Zuccato as Chair.

Dale will assume the role of General Manager Operations (Skilled Trades and Engineering Technologies) and will report to Lido. Dale will oversee the operations and maintenance of equipment in the FCEM, CCIP and Automotive Buildings. All technicians and technologists in those areas will report directly to Dale. Dale is a graduate of St. Clair College, and a licensed Tool and Die Maker. He spent over 30 years in industry with roles in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and plant management. Dale will commence his new position on October 2, 2017.

Richard Lauzon will assume the role of Manager, Apprenticeship, and will also report to Lido. Richard is a graduate of St. Clair College from the CAD/CAM program. Richard is a Mould Maker by trade, and has worked as a CNC machinist, designer, project manager, and has owned his own construction/restoration business for a period of five years. Richard will commence his new position on October 10, 2017.
