The St. Clair Saints Rocket League team started competition on the September 8-9 weekend, and earned impressive wins over Queen's University (2-0), Grand Valley State University (2-0), University of Minnesota (2-1), and Northern Illinois University (2-0). They fell to the loser's bracket at the hands of the University of Wisconsin (2-1), and then were finally eliminated by the University of Michigan (2-1) in a nail-biter to finish 9th out of 135 teams in the tournament.
The Saints will compete again next weekend in another double elimination knock out tournament. A top 4 placing will see them advance to the Round Robin Stage.
